A Zone 8 personal favorite: an organic and non-GMO masala tea. It doesn’t get much more authentic than this aside from a traditional Indian kitchen. We brew our masala with black tea and it’s sweetened with organic cane sugar. It’s infused with the perfect mix of spices, including cinnamon, cardamom, black pepper, ginger and cloves.
Masala tea is a staple of Indian culture, a very delicious staple at that. We were driven to make this tea for two main reasons—to continue in our mission to allow our supporters to truly experience the flavors of the world, and also because the few ready-to-drink masala teas we did see on the market didn’t taste natural or authentic. We took extreme care with using real ingredients and formulating our recipe to ensure that it packs the same real flavor as what would come out of an Indian kitchen. Masala tea was originally meant to be consumed hot, but we think it has a wondrous taste cold as well! Whether you heat it up and add milk to make it a chai or drink it ice-cold from the bottle, its complex and natural flavor profile is sure to satisfy and impress.
